A truly amazing, unexpected experience! Begins with a meeting by Mike, a review of your needs, and a professional quote of the work to be performed. Mike recites precisely what we should expect and, in detail, how it will occur. After speaking with a few other roofers, there was no question, this was the personable company to hire! Extremely professional workers who performed an impeccable job! After watching neighbors replacing their roof with other companies, these same neighbors replied personally to me how amazing this job was and could not believe it only took ONE day! I shared in their amazement as that aspect, although Mike said probably 1 day, was difficult to believe. I'm a believer now! If you're seeking a roofer, don't waste your time with others. Complete roof replacement on 1904 home in historic district. Cedar shakes under two layers of asphalt removed, complete new decking, ice and water shield, replaced flashing where needed. Complex job, lots of dormers and odd angles. Mike and his crew were professional, thorough, punctual and efficient. The whole thing finished on budget and on schedule. When we encountered an unanticipated situation, they worked with us to find an economical and effective solution. I felt like part of the process from start to finish. All aspects were explained thoroughly from the day of the estimate, which was much appreciated. They cleaned up the site very well when finished. They showed up,when they said they would, and finished when they said they would. All around a very positive experience.

Mike walked me through every detail and didn’t assume I knew or didn’t know anything about my roof. Once his crew showed up, they worked tirelessly throughout the day to complete the job. I have a 2500 sg ft colonial home, so it was realistic to think that if could take two days. Josh the foreman was checking in with me throughout the day, which was a Saturday by the way, to make sure I was happy with everything. Josh showed up the day before to walk me through the process and showed up the Monday after to make sure I was happy with everything. I strongly recommend using these guys, I have had my roof priced from other contractors in the area and in some cases the cost was double.

Mike is running a stellar company; Josh (the foreman for our house) was extremely personable and spent plenty of time walking me around the day (single - they did our roof in about 7 hours) explaining what was going on. Mike’s team of roofers were very good. They came, removed the old shingles and put the new one on in a day and left my property spotless. I had been having an issue with leaking around the chimney and they took the time after removing the shingles to let me inspect the plywood to understand what was causing the issue (step flashing and disintegrated ice and water shield after 20 years). I had been set to go with another roofer when Mike happened to contact me and ask me if I was interested in getting a quote for a new roof. His price was in line with other estimates, but I really liked working with Mike because he answered all my questions and didn’t mind that I asked lots of question. And if he didn’t have an answer, he got back to me with an answer. He and Josh were also very good at keeping me posted in terms of start date, delivery of dumpster, etc and they were easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend Rhino-Back Roofing.

What makes for a great roofer? Good price, of course. But the work has to be quality and the materials top notch. They should arrive when they say they will, perform the work in a timely fashion, and clean up the area, leaving it in the condition they found it. Granby Roofing Project
My Fiance and I live in Granby, CT and had Rhino Back replace our garage and walkway roof recently. It went about as well as it could possibly go. While it was a struggle to get other roofers we contacted to even call us back, Mike and his crew contacted us within a 1/2 hour of our initial inquiry online and he personally came out to look at the job the next day. After we made a deposit and picked out a color the crew was out there in a week or so. We left for work and when we got back we had a new roof!! They left the area cleaner then it was before they got there. And now we have a roof thats good for the next 50 yrs and a no questions asked warranty that transfers to the next owner. We probably could have found someone cheaper and saved a couple hundred bucks, but for what we got and how easy it was, the money was totally worth it. Mike even sent us brownies and a christmas card for crying out loud!!!
