Rhino-Back Roofing was fantastic from start to finish. They spent a lot of time evaluating the job, answering questions, explaining the process and the products they would use. They provided a very detailed estimate. They were able to schedule the job very quickly since it was estimated at a 1/2-day project. They gave us feedback on everything we would need to do to prep for the project – acquiring a dumpster, clearing some trees – and then gave us updates as materials were delivered, followed by check-ins to ensure the materials were correct. The crew is fantastic – very respectful and friendly. They work quickly and efficiently – clearly have been a team for a while. They needed to do some extra repair work once the old roof was removed, and quickly got the materials they needed and made the repairs. Due to that, they thought they might need extra time, but they were still able to finish by the end of the day. Their clean-up was phenomenal – they checked all around the premises for pieces of roofing, nails, etc. They came by to do a walk-around to check on the work. The quality of the roofing materials is fantastic – wish that our whole house had these products! They stayed in touch regarding the warranty papers and even sent a beautiful thank you gift. My wife and I shopped this job the best we could. We requested quotes from four companies for our roof replacement, skylight replacement and chimney repair of which two of the companies were referred by neighbors. Two of the four were not able to quote the chimney repair but the quotes were itemized so we were able to compare apples to apples. The difference between the highest and the lowest was $1,500 on the roof replacement. The shingles offered were Corning and Timberline. We read every review we could find on both and found that Corning had a slight edge because it has a nailing strip. This wasn’t a make or break difference. We had four quotes from well-reviewed and experienced roofing contractors so we based our decision on who we thought would be the most likely to do the best job, expert and clear communication on remedy for existing roof leak and ice damming, the most likely to return to fix a problem, price and value. Rhino-Back Roofing was the clear choice. The job took three days, the roof looks great, the skylights fit perfect and the chimney looks awesome. The service was professional and the cleanup was good.

Complete roof replacement on 1904 home in historic district. Cedar shakes under two layers of asphalt removed, complete new decking, ice and water shield, replaced flashing where needed. Complex job, lots of dormers and odd angles. Mike and his crew were professional, thorough, punctual and efficient. The whole thing finished on budget and on schedule. When we encountered an unanticipated situation, they worked with us to find an economical and effective solution. I felt like part of the process from start to finish. All aspects were explained thoroughly from the day of the estimate, which was much appreciated. They cleaned up the site very well when finished. They showed up,when they said they would, and finished when they said they would. All around a very positive experience.

Very professional , and pleasant to work with. Crew came after dumpster delivered, and they worked all day, prepared the house with tarp to cover shrubs, and cleaned up all day after themselves . Mike and his team did a great job from start to finish. Mike provided a detail overview of what his company does, products used, and warranty's. The project was scheduled in the middle of the winter due to a roof leak. Tim contacted me a few days ahead of the start date to let me know when the dumpster would arrive and when the product would be delivered. Tim and his crew arrived around 8:00 and Tim and I walked around the house and he explained the project process in detail. The project was completed by 3:00 with cleanup. Due to the amount of snow on the ground, they will be sending another cleaning crew out in the spring to do a final clean up of anything that was missed.

Everything went great from start to finish. Mike presented a professional explanation of what they would do and what materials they would use. The contract was written specifically showing exactly what Mike had indicated. When the time came for our roof to be done Josh and his crew showed up on time, I was walked around our house and told how they were going to protect the siding and landscaping. From the initial meeting to educate me on roof shingle replacement to the follow up before starting the job, Mike the owner is the consummate professional. Mike walked me through every detail and didn’t assume I knew or didn’t know anything about my roof. Once his crew showed up, they worked tirelessly throughout the day to complete the job. I have a 2500 sg ft colonial home, so it was realistic to think that if could take two days. Josh the foreman was checking in with me throughout the day, which was a Saturday by the way, to make sure I was happy with everything. Josh showed up the day before to walk me through the process and showed up the Monday after to make sure I was happy with everything. I strongly recommend using these guys, I have had my roof priced from other contractors in the area and in some cases the cost was double.

I cannot say enough good things about Rhino-Back Roofing. The level of service and professionalism, paired with the end result, is far beyond anything I could have hoped for with this project. From the very beginning, Mike and his team were available, informative and made us feel part of the family. We just moved into our very first New England home and found we needed a FULL roof replacement.
