Rhino-Back Roofing was fantastic from start to finish. They spent a lot of time evaluating the job, answering questions, explaining the process and the products they would use. They provided a very detailed estimate. They were able to schedule the job very quickly since it was estimated at a 1/2-day project. They gave us feedback on everything we would need to do to prep for the project – acquiring a dumpster, clearing some trees – and then gave us updates as materials were delivered, followed by check-ins to ensure the materials were correct. The crew is fantastic – very respectful and friendly. They work quickly and efficiently – clearly have been a team for a while. They needed to do some extra repair work once the old roof was removed, and quickly got the materials they needed and made the repairs. Due to that, they thought they might need extra time, but they were still able to finish by the end of the day. Their clean-up was phenomenal – they checked all around the premises for pieces of roofing, nails, etc. They came by to do a walk-around to check on the work. The quality of the roofing materials is fantastic – wish that our whole house had these products! They stayed in touch regarding the warranty papers and even sent a beautiful thank you gift. Very professional , and pleasant to work with. Crew came after dumpster delivered, and they worked all day, prepared the house with tarp to cover shrubs, and cleaned up all day after themselves . Very attentive to your needs, and very helpful thru the first interview with Mike, who took the time to show me the whole process, and got me in as soon as possible, as I had a leak. Josh, the supervisor, was in and out all day, and very helpful, too. I have lived in my home 40yrs and this is my 3 roof. Never felt so confident, that this was the best job ever. Thanks Mike.

This is the first time I have been involved with hiring a firm for a big project. The roof is large with a high pitch and several sections. I was really nervous. I have to say the Mike (the owner) made this process so easy and it couldn't have been a better experience. Mike arrived promptly for our initial meeting . He presented himself in a professional, yet friendly manner. Our roofing project was described to us in great detail and he took great care in answering each and every one of our questions. Mike's passion for his job was evident. After selecting Rhino Back to do the job, we were pleased to see that the crew (supervised by Josh who was also great to work with) arrived on time each morning. Care was taken to protect our many plants and the clean-up process was very thorough. Our roof, gutters and skylights look great. We would highly recommend this Rhino Back crew to everyone.
Rhino-Back Roofing came highly recommended to us when we had some leaking issues on our porch. They replaced my roof and all the wood under the shingles. They did a phenomenal job all in one day. They had 8 people working on it. Everything was done exactly when and how it was described. When at the last minute, I asked for a postponement until a day when we wouldn’t be home to hear all the noise, there was no problem. It looks great and the cleanup was perfect.
I just want to give a shout out to Rhino Back Roofing. We hired them to do a new roof and even though the job was complicated by our home’s structural problems, they took it in stride and were wonderful with communication. Mike and his team were extremely helpful at solving our complex roofing needs, (flat leaking roof with very poor drainage). Rhinoback is one of the best contractors I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Owner Mike T is very pleasant and professional, and the manufacturer he uses, Owens-Corning, is top-notch. Mike explained everything in detail – roofing materials, the Owens-Corning warranty, and every step of the installation process --- and was the only one of the roofers who bid on the project to actually inspect the attic and crawl spaces to make sure the wood infrastructure was sound. Installation took one day – the crew of seven showed up at 7 am and by 6 pm the roof was finished, all debris was cleaned up, and the house looked terrific. Production manager Josh was on site all day to answer questions, and came back the next day to make sure that every old nail and shingle had been thrown away. You’d think such quality would be prohibitively expensive (and roofing is by nature costly) but Rhinoback’s price was mid-range of all the estimates I received. I highly recommend Rhino-Back!

Mike (owner), Josh (supervisor), and Jessica (office) did an amazing job of marketing and follow through. The whole operation took 3 days, day 1 dumpster & materials arrived, day 2 old roof gone/new roof on, day 3 dumpster gone. Josh did an excellent job of supervision and final touch ups and clean up. The crew did an excellent job. A very professional job by everybody from Rhino Back Roofing. I would recommend them to anybody.

We just had our roof done, and were very pleased with RhinoBack. Mike and his team were great to work with and followed through to make sure we were completely satisfied with the new roof – even after paid in full. They were very responsive and came back a couple of times to make sure they cleaned everything up (had to wait for the snow to melt on the ground). What makes for a great roofer? Good price, of course. But the work has to be quality and the materials top notch. They should arrive when they say they will, perform the work in a timely fashion, and clean up the area, leaving it in the condition they found it. If you agree that this describes a great roofer, then you’ve found who you are looking for in Rhino-Back Roofing in Simsbury, CT. They arrived punctually at 7 a.m. with an 8-man crew; had both layers of the old roof off by noon, and by dinner their meticulous clean-up left my property neater than they found it! Plus, they were courteous, attentive to detail, and followed up to make sure nothing had been forgotten. I would unhesitatingly call them again, and am happy to recommend them here.

Job went smoothly and was fully completed and cleaned with all debris removed in 2 days. Everyone involved, from the owner to the installation techs to the final clean-up tech and waste container people were thoughtful considerate individuals who truly cared about their workmanship. They were respectful at all times and well trained and skilled at their duties. After observing them working on our neighbor's roof, we did not hesitate to call; and, after speaking with Mike, were very excited to contract with him. This is a first class company from top to bottom.

Mike & Josh at Rhino-Back were outstanding to work with. We were closing on a home in Simsbury and discovered it needed a new roof. Mike went out to look the very next day to give an assessment – knowing that we were under a tight deadline with our close and with a snow storm on the way. He did an excellent job clearly explaining all of the work he was going to do, and kept in touch every step of the way. Josh was able to start and finish putting our roof on two days after we closed on the house and the day before the snow hit – it was the quickest, cleanest job I’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t be happier with the way it came out.
