We had 3 other contractors look at our roof before choosing Rhino-Back, and we have no doubt we made the right decision! Part of our roof is a low pitch that was added onto the house- the roof installed on this part of the house was designed for a steeper pitch, and we had some leaking in the fall… Mike came over as a courtesy and helped us come up with a solution at that time, which got us through the winter with no issues. This spring, Rhino-back replaced our entire roofing system. Most of the house was shingles- we had a rubber roof installed on the low pitch section. Rhino-Back’s team was quick, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves…. not to mention the new roof looks great! Love, love, love my new roof. An investment like this can be rather daunting but Rhino Back Roofing made it to easy. Out of the 5 contractors I reached out to, Mike spent the most time with us. He explained everything in detail, what he recommends, why he uses the products he does and answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell very passionate about his business. The team came and finished the roof in 1.5 days. They worked very hard, were very polite and did a good job cleaning up. The project manager Josh was onsite during the entire job and made sure everything was being done correctly and to answer any of our questions. The tiles we picked out look great on the house: Sedona Canyon. Its hard to tell from looking at a small sample. Job went smoothly and was fully completed and cleaned with all debris removed in 2 days. Everyone involved, from the owner to the installation techs to the final clean-up tech and waste container people were thoughtful considerate individuals who truly cared about their workmanship. They were respectful at all times and well trained and skilled at their duties. After observing them working on our neighbor's roof, we did not hesitate to call; and, after speaking with Mike, were very excited to contract with him. This is a first class company from top to bottom.

We recently had the best experience ever with Rhino-Back Roofing! Who ever thought putting a roof on your house and spending tons of $$$ would be great??? We DO. Never have I had a company so concerned for customers and their home. The Rhino-Back guys were professional and courteous and so detail oriented. I did get a few estimates for our job and Rhino-Back fell in the middle, but from a customer service perspective it was above and beyond and worth so much more! Mike came out and spent over 45 minutes explaining the entire project and costs, Josh called the day before and discussed all the details, the job was completed in one day, and the follow-up and cleanup were perfect. We had some snafus in scheduling, dumpster removal, etc but every step of the way, the guys were in constant communication and calls were answered immediately and Josh even came over within 15 minutes to answer some questions. Complete roof replacement on 1904 home in historic district. Cedar shakes under two layers of asphalt removed, complete new decking, ice and water shield, replaced flashing where needed. Complex job, lots of dormers and odd angles. Mike and his crew were professional, thorough, punctual and efficient. The whole thing finished on budget and on schedule. When we encountered an unanticipated situation, they worked with us to find an economical and effective solution. I felt like part of the process from start to finish. All aspects were explained thoroughly from the day of the estimate, which was much appreciated. They cleaned up the site very well when finished. They showed up,when they said they would, and finished when they said they would. All around a very positive experience.
Very professional , and pleasant to work with. Crew came after dumpster delivered, and they worked all day, prepared the house with tarp to cover shrubs, and cleaned up all day after themselves . Very attentive to your needs, and very helpful thru the first interview with Mike, who took the time to show me the whole process, and got me in as soon as possible, as I had a leak. Josh, the supervisor, was in and out all day, and very helpful, too. I have lived in my home 40yrs and this is my 3 roof. Never felt so confident, that this was the best job ever. Thanks Mike.

Rhino-Back did an excellent job, on time and on budget. They completed the work in one day and did a thorough job of post installation cleanup, even coming back after the job to clean up screened in porch that had roof removal debris in hard to reach places. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best roofing products installed by a professional, accountable contractor.

Mike and his team are awesome…highly recommend! We needed a new roof last year after it was damaged from the terrible winter weather. We had leaking in our kitchen and ice dams all over the roof. We looked at a few companies before deciding to use Mike and his team. Mike seemed like he truly cared and didn’t treat us as just a number. He was very thorough with his estimate, answered all the questions we had, and even helped us provide the necessary info to our insurance company. Their quality of work was excellent and the job was done in two days. Mike even came back a few times to check and make sure everything was as it should be and our rain guard was working properly. My Fiance and I live in Granby, CT and had Rhino Back replace our garage and walkway roof recently. It went about as well as it could possibly go. While it was a struggle to get other roofers we contacted to even call us back, Mike and his crew contacted us within a 1/2 hour of our initial inquiry online and he personally came out to look at the job the next day. After we made a deposit and picked out a color the crew was out there in a week or so. We left for work and when we got back we had a new roof!! They left the area cleaner then it was before they got there. And now we have a roof thats good for the next 50 yrs and a no questions asked warranty that transfers to the next owner. We probably could have found someone cheaper and saved a couple hundred bucks, but for what we got and how easy it was, the money was totally worth it. Mike even sent us brownies and a christmas card for crying out loud!!!

The total roofing experience with Rhino-Back roofing was exceptional. All aspects of the job, from the beginning first home visit from Mike Trouern-Trend to evaluate the project, to the promptness of communication relating to the quoting of the project as well as the final installation were seamless. Progress reports on start dates, and timing came regularly from Mike, and Rhino-Back was able to come earlier than expected and completed the job in just a day and a half. The crew that did the actual installation was professional, courteous, and prompt. When they left the job after the first day, the yard was clear of debris and the unused materials were neatly stacked in the driveway. After completion of the job extra care was taken to look for stray scraps of shingles or nails that might had fallen through the tarps. I could not be more pleased with the roofing experience that Rhino-Back provided for my home. I recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a new roof or partial roof repair if they enjoy professional service, outstanding quality and reasonable pricing.

Rhino Back was one of the best contractors that I have worked with in a long time. Mike and Josh were very professional as well as there crew. The job was completed in one day, and they even sent someone back the following day to make sure that the cleanup was done to perfection. I received pricing from 4 other contractors and they fell in the middle. I would highly recommend Rhino Back for your next roofing project. Its was nice to work with a company that cares about there customers.
