Mike & Josh at Rhino-Back were outstanding to work with. We were closing on a home in Simsbury and discovered it needed a new roof. Mike went out to look the very next day to give an assessment – knowing that we were under a tight deadline with our close and with a snow storm on the way. He did an excellent job clearly explaining all of the work he was going to do, and kept in touch every step of the way. Josh was able to start and finish putting our roof on two days after we closed on the house and the day before the snow hit – it was the quickest, cleanest job I’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t be happier with the way it came out. This is the first time I have been involved with hiring a firm for a big project. The roof is large with a high pitch and several sections. I was really nervous. I have to say the Mike (the owner) made this process so easy and it couldn't have been a better experience. Mike arrived promptly for our initial meeting . He presented himself in a professional, yet friendly manner. Our roofing project was described to us in great detail and he took great care in answering each and every one of our questions. Mike's passion for his job was evident. After selecting Rhino Back to do the job, we were pleased to see that the crew (supervised by Josh who was also great to work with) arrived on time each morning. Care was taken to protect our many plants and the clean-up process was very thorough. Our roof, gutters and skylights look great. We would highly recommend this Rhino Back crew to everyone.
Mike was efficient from the time we had our first meeting. He set all expectations and there were no surprises. From project time to dumpster drop off and pick up to clean up . This was a big job and it took 2 days. I was around for most of it and it was a pleasant experience! They all work very hard. Josh was supervising and did not miss a beat. He answered all questions. Marcos and his team were professional , respectful and extremely diligent. Mike runs a great company and treats his employees with respect. Looking forward to easier winters. Rhinoback is one of the best contractors I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Owner Mike T is very pleasant and professional, and the manufacturer he uses, Owens-Corning, is top-notch. Mike explained everything in detail – roofing materials, the Owens-Corning warranty, and every step of the installation process --- and was the only one of the roofers who bid on the project to actually inspect the attic and crawl spaces to make sure the wood infrastructure was sound. Installation took one day – the crew of seven showed up at 7 am and by 6 pm the roof was finished, all debris was cleaned up, and the house looked terrific. Production manager Josh was on site all day to answer questions, and came back the next day to make sure that every old nail and shingle had been thrown away. You’d think such quality would be prohibitively expensive (and roofing is by nature costly) but Rhinoback’s price was mid-range of all the estimates I received. I highly recommend Rhino-Back!

We just had our roof done, and were very pleased with RhinoBack. Mike and his team were great to work with and followed through to make sure we were completely satisfied with the new roof – even after paid in full. They were very responsive and came back a couple of times to make sure they cleaned everything up (had to wait for the snow to melt on the ground). We got several quotes for our roof, but I’m glad we went with RhinoBack and would absolutely recommend them to friends.

Mike and team recently replaced our roof, a number of skylights and added a rubber roof on a low pitch addition. As we went through the quoting process, Mike outlined various options and came up with some creative solutions that were very competitive on pricing. I'm writing this one month later and the completed work is excellent. The actual install took a day and the team was organized, methodical and very respectful of our property.
