They replaced my roof and all the wood under the shingles. They did a phenomenal job all in one day. They had 8 people working on it. Everything was done exactly when and how it was described. When at the last minute, I asked for a postponement until a day when we wouldn’t be home to hear all the noise, there was no problem. It looks great and the cleanup was perfect.
Mike was efficient from the time we had our first meeting. He set all expectations and there were no surprises. From project time to dumpster drop off and pick up to clean up . This was a big job and it took 2 days. I was around for most of it and it was a pleasant experience! They all work very hard. Josh was supervising and did not miss a beat. He answered all questions. Marcos and his team were professional , respectful and extremely diligent. Mike runs a great company and treats his employees with respect. Looking forward to easier winters. My Fiance and I live in Granby, CT and had Rhino Back replace our garage and walkway roof recently. It went about as well as it could possibly go. While it was a struggle to get other roofers we contacted to even call us back, Mike and his crew contacted us within a 1/2 hour of our initial inquiry online and he personally came out to look at the job the next day. After we made a deposit and picked out a color the crew was out there in a week or so. We left for work and when we got back we had a new roof!! They left the area cleaner then it was before they got there. And now we have a roof thats good for the next 50 yrs and a no questions asked warranty that transfers to the next owner. We probably could have found someone cheaper and saved a couple hundred bucks, but for what we got and how easy it was, the money was totally worth it. Mike even sent us brownies and a christmas card for crying out loud!!!
We had hail damage and the whole experience was amazing from dealing with insurance and keeping me updated to super friendly and knowledgeable staff to professional and courteous installation team. Everything went well. Mike was even patient when we changed a few items a few times. He worked with us the entire time. We felt confident in their ability to meet our expectations and they did. The clean up was also excellent. They even sent someone back after to triple check for remaining nails. Excellent work all around. Their entire crew and personnel were very professional and pleasant to work with.

Michael advised us what was going to happen and when. His team arrived when they said they would. They worked quickly and efficiently. The work was done when Michael told us they’d be done, and they even CLEANED UP after themselves. My wife was enthusiastic about that last part. So much that she noted that she wised I’d clean up after myself the way Rhino-Back Roofing does. And best of all, our roof looks AMAZING. I’ve got three compliments from friends since the Canton CT Roofing job was done and they all wanted to know who did the work!

This is the first time I have been involved with hiring a firm for a big project. The roof is large with a high pitch and several sections. I was really nervous. I have to say the Mike (the owner) made this process so easy and it couldn't have been a better experience. Mike arrived promptly for our initial meeting . He presented himself in a professional, yet friendly manner. Our roofing project was described to us in great detail and he took great care in answering each and every one of our questions. Mike's passion for his job was evident. After selecting Rhino Back to do the job, we were pleased to see that the crew (supervised by Josh who was also great to work with) arrived on time each morning. Care was taken to protect our many plants and the clean-up process was very thorough. Our roof, gutters and skylights look great. We would highly recommend this Rhino Back crew to everyone.

We decided to replace our existing roof so we contacted three local area contractors. One was more of larger company doing roofing all over CT, the other two were local guys. The larger company gave us a solid quote, but the person who came and looked at the roof was a total salesman. We had some questions about the roof that he could not answer but said he would have someone call us. The other local guy missed the scheduled time then did a drive by the house, providing a good quote, but never even talked to us. Then there was Mike from Rhino. Mike showed up on-time and was very friendly. He looked over the whole roof and even went into the attic to get a good feel for the job. He then spent about an hour taking us through the job, answering all our questions right on the spot. It was obvious he knew his stuff! Gave us outstanding advise that kept us from spending on unneeded modifications to the roof. Mike gave us a very solid quote. He was not as cheap as the larger company, but it was clear we would get an outstanding product from him and his team. I think that the other company was making up the costs on ridge vents along with some other cost cutting adjustments that Mike advised against. We took Mike’s advice and could not be happier. Josh, Mikes project manager was awesome. The team showed up on-time and knocked out the job in two days and we have a big house. They were so friendly and helpful, we cannot say enough positive things about the guys. As for the roof, it looks awesome!! Mike helped us pick the color and he was spot on! We love it! 10 for 10 for Rhino-back roofing – the entire team. It was worth paying a bit more for such quality work and advice.
Great communication, very customer focused, competitive pricing and a very experienced crew. Mike is running a stellar company; Josh (the foreman for our house) was extremely personable and spent plenty of time walking me around the day (single - they did our roof in about 7 hours) explaining what was going on. They were competitive in price in the area, are committed to the community, and the work is top notch. We're so happy with the work (and the look of the new roof!), we've recommended them to at least 3 friends. You won't be disappointed.

Mike is a thoughtful, hard-working, ambitious, professional businessman. He gives excellent communication about what to expect, about deliveries and about any interference with the schedule due to weather conditions. He and his 6-man crew are dependable, work fast and leave the work area immaculate when job is completed. Mike is very knowledgeable about materials used and explains everything to the customer. Rhino-Back Roofing was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. A phone call to them was promptly returned. Mike T scheduled an appointment to meet with my wife and I the next day. A dead tree fell on our roof and caused significant damage. Mike was able to assess the damage, recommend what needed to be done and assisted us with negotiating a settlement with our insurance company. The work was done as scheduled and completed in one day (strip damaged roof over two car garage, install ridge vent, replace shingles, replace gutters and check main roof. Clean-up was outstanding. It was a pleasure dealing with the foreman the day of the job. I am extremely pleased with the over-all experience and finished product. Rhino-Back Roofing has earned my highest recommendation.

Love, love, love my new roof. An investment like this can be rather daunting but Rhino Back Roofing made it to easy. Out of the 5 contractors I reached out to, Mike spent the most time with us. He explained everything in detail, what he recommends, why he uses the products he does and answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell very passionate about his business. The team came and finished the roof in 1.5 days. They worked very hard, were very polite and did a good job cleaning up. The project manager Josh was onsite during the entire job and made sure everything was being done correctly and to answer any of our questions. The tiles we picked out look great on the house: Sedona Canyon. Its hard to tell from looking at a small sample. Working with Rhinoback was as painless a process as humanly possible. I contacted 4 local companies for quotes; they were the only ones to call me back. Communication was excellent, their quote was honest and fair, they showed up when they said they would, completed the job quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. We have been putting off this project for years, and we are so relieved to have it behind us and to feel so confident in the workmanship. The thank you note and delivery of brownies was a nice touch too :-)
Mike and his team are awesome…highly recommend! We needed a new roof last year after it was damaged from the terrible winter weather. We had leaking in our kitchen and ice dams all over the roof.
